Hatchcover Compression Bar Seal

Hatchcover leakages can occur most often from 'cross joints' as a result of damaged cargos. With RA-MON 5838, the gap between the compression bar and the rubber packing will be sealed.

RA-MON 5838 removes worries from ship owners. It ensures water-tight hatchcovers in all heavy seas and weather conditions. RA-MON 5838 are packed in light weight cartons (18kg), which can be easily delivered to ANY port.

The pictures on the left show how the RA-MON 5838 SEAL can be easily installed onto the compression bar. RA-MON M3-8934-18MM STEEL FILAMENT TAPE can also be supplied to hold the seals in places where the compression bar may be damaged or distorted.
